It’s yesterday evening that the sad news has popped on social media: Tony Allen, master drummer, Afrobeat sound’s architect, has died at 79 yo. I have the biggest respect for all his work so I’d like to dedicate him this mix. Not the most complete, focused only on this century releases, nor the most documented, but a true and honest tribute.
