Well, after this Hardcore nostalgic break, let’s put the guitars away and bring microphones and samplers out for a trip in the Hip-Hop’s world. MC’s have always compete to put their rhymes on instrumentals the best way possible. Sometimes so fast their voices seem to be an additional rhythmic line, a bit like scat in Jazz. But with the difference their lyrics are still understandable ! I can hardly imagine the work of diction behind the prowess of, for example, Busta Rhymes or Lil Wayne…
