French Kiss
No offense to the French deputies but internet favors music creation in many ways. I will particularly address one of them today: the remix, bootleg, mashup, call it what you want. And nothing better than an example to illustrate that.
See the first title of this playlist : it’s basically a track from the soul singer Sharon Jones covered in dub by Ticklah (formally Antibalas keyboard). The result is excellent and is used again by a producer called B.Cause which appends to it a Sean Paul accapella for a result as much wicked…
All of this happened via internet, in a big blend… Almost like two tongues during a french kiss ! (Yes, all that stuff only for that ! Ok, I’m out for this foolish concept…)
