Coming from UK, Mr Scruff is well known for his long mixes where Soul, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Afro, Jungle and House are happily blended in a festive atmosphere to the delight of the crowd.

Indeed, with a 30 years career, hundred of gigs all over the world and a massive record collection, Andy Carthy from his real name, has the knowledge and technic to share on the dance floors his huge passion for rhythm and tunes.

In studio, it’s through 5 albums, mainly released on the mighty Ninja Tune label since the beginning of the 90s, that he has helped to shape the sound of the label, let’s even say the sound of an entire era!

Despite a busy schedule, Mr Scruff found time to select 10 nuggets for this aptly named 10 Tracks series, and it’s not without a bit of pride that I host a new Ninja on the INNA DI MOOD Podcast.
